Instructional Coaching

We believe that quality professional learning should be ongoing and job embedded.  Instructional coaching model research tells us  that instructional coaching has a positive impact on teaching and student learning through:

  1. The innovative use of short video clips that allows teachers to observe and analyze their own instruction;
  2. The intentional focus on teachers’ successes in the classroom as a basis for coaching that is strengths-based; and
  3. The systematic attention to how classroom interactions can be used to improve student engagement and learning.
