Laker Trek
Trek - To pass through a leg or stage of a journey one step at a time
Laker Trek is a multi-year transition program designed to support students with higher needs who receive special education services and have completed their senior year of high school. The program focuses on vocational and independent living skills with the end goal being successful transition to life after public education.
Days: Monday - Friday dependent upon IEP goals
Time: 8:30am - 11:30am
Independent Living:
Assist students in developing skills to be productive and as independent as possible in expected living situations.

- Other areas as identified in IEP
- Recreation & Leisure
Vocational Skills:
Access to community resources to support a young adult. Includes participation in activities in one’s community.
