English Language Learner Services
The Detroit Lakes English Learner (EL) program helps students identified as multilingual learners, at all grades levels, develop the English language skills needed for success in school. The EL program promotes individualized instruction to meet students’ English language development needs. The goal of the program is to ensure equity and high-quality instruction while students build academic language, content understanding, and develop English language proficiency.
