AISC Meetings

Monthly meetings with weekly small group meetings.  

Foundation Goals

  • Create positive youth development
  • Continue to build on cultural values and contributions to the district and community
  • Work towards developing positive relationships with students, staff, and administration
  • Empower our youth to lead, influence, and support each other
  • Build on self-identity
  • Dealing with structural inequities and how to overcome them.
  • Follow the “Seven Grandfather Teachings” and apply them to goals and activities: love, respect, honesty, bravery, humility, truth, and wisdom.  

Activities

  • Read to elementary students
  • Take field trips
  • Assist with programs and activities at the high school
  • Monthly Advice table in commons - Seven Grandfather Teachings
  • Demonstrate leadership by example - following the Seven Grandfather Teachings - find ways to demonstrate this
