Greetings!  

As Detroit Lakes Public Schools prepares to graduate its 136th class of seniors, we are also looking ahead with great excitement to the 2025–26 school year. Our district remains committed to providing state-of-the-art facilities and a wide range of programs designed to meet the needs of every learner. From preschool to high school, we are proud of the exceptional experiences we offer through the dedication of our outstanding staff.  

Each day, our teachers, support staff, custodians, food service workers, bus drivers, and administrators bring to life the values that define Laker Pride. Together, they create a welcoming and supportive environment where every student can thrive.  

Our mission begins with our youngest learners and continues through to our graduating seniors. At every step, we focus on the values of Purpose, Relationships, Innovation, Development, and Equity. These guiding principles help us navigate a clear course for preparing all students to succeed in the 21st century.  Whether you're just beginning your journey with us or preparing to complete it, we are thrilled to have you as part of our Laker community.
