Early Childhood Screening
Has your child been screened yet? Screening is recommended as soon as possible after your child turns three years of age. Minnesota law requires a health and developmental screening at least once before starting school readiness, kindergarten, or early childhood programming. Screening is conducted by a trained professional who will check vision, hearing, language & communication, large and small muscle, cognitive, social and emotional, and immunizations. If there are questions or concerns, parents/guardians are informed of resources for further assistance or evaluation.
