Detroit Lakes Public Schools (DLPS) offers early learning opportunities for our Littlest Lakers through Early Childhood Family Education and Preschool classes at Lincoln Education Center. DLPS has two elementary schools, Roosevelt Elementary and Rossman Elementary (grades K-5), Detroit Lakes Middle School (grades 6-8), and Detroit Lakes High School (grades 9-12). We also offer an alternative learning setting though Detroit Lakes Area Learning Center, online learning (grades 9-12) through E-Laker Online High School, and post high school special education transition programming through Laker Transitions.

If you have recently moved into our district, or had an addition to the family (such as birth or adoption), please complete the following form. This will ensure you receive information on Preschool Health Screening, Early Childhood Family Education programs, Kindergarten Roundup/Registration, etc. Please only include children ages infants through 6 who are not yet enrolled in elementary school.
